Biggest Fines in NBA history

Knicks and Nuggets – Knicks-Nuggets Brawl – $500000 each

Knicks nuggets brawl

On December 16, 2006 the Denver Nuggets were visiting the Knicks at MSG. With just over a minute left to go, Mardy Collins (NYK) fouled JR Smith (DEN) on a fastbreak by slapping his neck with his arms. As soon as Smith got up, him and Collins got into an altercation, which later erupted into one of the biggest brawls in NBA history. Both teams ended up getting multiple suspensions and $500 000 fine each.
