In 2002, the Denver Nuggets made one of the worst draft mistakes of all time by drafting Nikoloz Tskitishvili, described by ESPN’s Bill Simmons as “the worst-case scenario for any foreign pick”. Over his four seasons with the Nuggets, he put up just 0.2 blocks per game and shot 30% from the floor. Instead, Denver could have had Amar’e Stoudemire for a nice one-two punch with a prime Andre Miller.
