Most Underrated Player In Every Team’s History – Western Conference
The Sacramento Kings in the early 2000s were a legit threat in the Western Conference, making numerous deep Playoff runs and infamously losing to the Lakers in 2002 Conference Finals. That series was the main factor that launched an investigation against ref Tim Donaghy on allegations of fixing games and eventually landed him in jail.
The three most remembered names from are Mike Bibby, Chris Webber and Vlade Divac. Peja Stojakovic, the team’s biggest perimeter threat, is a name that doesn’t get nearly enough respect. He is easily one of the best shooters of all time, converting 43% of his three-point shots in 2003-4 and 44% in 2007-8. He was also a best at the charity stripe, converting over 90% during his last three seasons with Kings from 2003 to 2006.
Ironically enough, even though he was the most underrated member of the early 2000s Kings, he is also the only one with a ring, having won one with the Mavericks in 2011.
