Real-Life Uncle Drews: Top 5 All-Time NBA Players at 40+
It’s very rare for NBA players to stay in the league past the age of 40, let alone put up numbers worthy of note, which is why this list is limited to 5 entries.
Robert “The Chief” Parish is the NBA’s all-time leader in games played with 1611 and the 3rd oldest player of all time at 43 years old. His last few seasons with the Hornets and Bulls were less than memorable, but in 1993-94, his final season with the Celtics, he put up an impressive 11.7 PPG, 7.3 RPG and 1.3 BPG in 26.9 minutes, starting in all 74 games he played that season. Not bad for a 40 year old.
