After initially being unable to come to an agreement with 2K Sports over the use of his likeness, Scottie Pippen has changed his mind and will now be part of the 1992 Olympic Dream Team in NBA 2K13.
Without Pippen, who is widely considered the Dream Team’s best defender, any fantasy matchup against the the 2012 USA team would lose a lot of meaning. After many fans voiced their disappointment over the legendary small forward being the only one missing from the 1992 squad, the Hall of Famer has changed his decision.
“Feedback on forums, social media, and community interactions were the driving force in influencing Pippen to sign a deal, as fans had shared widespread disappointment over his absence from the 1992 roster,” said 2K Sports in a statement.
NBA 2K13 comes out on October 3 for the PlayStation 3, X360, PC, PSP and Nintendo Wii / Wii U
