After 2K Sports and even Jay-Z failed to come to an agreement with Pippen, fans voiced a great deal of disappointment about the legendary defender being absent from NBA 2K13’s Dream Team. It looks like there was another reason why the Hall of Famer changed his mind.
According to Jason Argent, the VP of Marketing at 2K Sports, Pippen’s wife Larsa got a lot of requests from fans via social media to get him to reconsider. She even sent out a tweet saying she’s working on it. According to Mrs. Pippen, their 11-year old son was very disappointed as well.
I’m working on it! Lol@MichaelCarr23:
@larsapippen Please tell Scottie he should be in NBA 2k13…We (entire country) are begging you!”
