During the Bulls’ second three-peat, when Michael established himself as a leader with fear and pressure as his style, the team acquired Robert Parish. In one of his first practices as a Chicago Bull, Parish botched a play and found Jordan jawing at him inches from his face. Parish said he’s not as enamored with him as the rest of the team and that he’s got a few rings as well.

“I’m gonna kick your ass,” said Jordan. “No, you really aren’t,” said the 7-foot center as he took a step toward Michael. According to Parish, who was on the Celtics team that beat Jordan’s Bulls on his first playoff appearance in 1986, he was never bothered by him again.
