The Greatest Basketball Sneakers of the 90s – Part 2

Jordan 12 (1996)

The Air Jordan 12 was inspired by the Nisshoki version of the Japanese flag, the one with the sun rays. Though not as light weight as previous models, the construction and firmness of the shoe is widely considered to be the most durable and sturdy shoes from the Air Jordan line. This pair was famously worn by His Airness in the “Flu Game” against the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of the 1995 NBA Finals.
